Mr. Charles Edward "Cotton Top" Lee, Jr.
December 20, 1926 – October 17, 2009

Mr. Charles Edward "Cotton Top" Lee, Jr., born on December 20, 1926 passed away on October 17, 2009 with family and friends by his side, after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by a mother and father, Charles Edward Lee, Sr. and Cora Viola Lee; wife, Vicki Boling Lee; one brother, Harold Lee; two sisters, Mary L. Atkinson and Gracie E. Hall and one daughter, Brenda Diane Caudell. He worked at Union Camp for 43 years until he retired. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also one of the founding members of the WPR Hunting Club in Effingham County and the Larview Hunting Club in Midway. He loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, racing and the Braves. He was also a veteran of World War II.

His survivors are as follows, a companion of 10 years, Mrs. Janice Davis; four sons, Lonnie Kathy Lee, Sr., Edward Betty Lee, Kelvin Lee Driskell and Danny Ray Marie Lee; one special ex-daughter-in-law, Rita Lee and also thought of as a son, Ricky Nell Mixon. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Abbey West, Garden City, GA.

Remembrances: American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
